Edinburgh International Airport is just 7 miles to the heart of Edinburgh and is served by many of the new low cost carriers as well as many of the major international carriers. Outside of London, Edinburgh is the most popular flight destination in the UK and there are around 40 flights daily to London. The Rail network connects the two cities in just over 4 hours. The mainland of Europe is now also linked directly to Rosyth (just 11 miles from city centre) by Sea from Zeebrugge.
